TP-Link Deco XE75 Review: The King of Whole-Home Coverage
The Verdict
If you have thick brick walls, multiple stories, or frustrating dead zones in the back bedroom, the Deco XE75 (3-Pack) is the ultimate fix. It leverages the brand new 6GHz band to pass data between its nodes, resulting in zero speed-loss as you walk around the house.
Check Latest Price →The Wi-Fi 6E Advantage
Traditional Mesh systems have a major flaw: the nodes have to use the same Wi-Fi signal to talk to each other as they use to talk to your phone, cutting your speed in half. The Deco XE75 is a Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E system. It utilizes the newly opened 6GHz frequency as a dedicated, ultra-fast "wireless backhaul." This means the nodes communicate on an invisible, traffic-free highway, ensuring Gigabit speeds reach every corner of your property.
Unbeatable Coverage for Big Homes
A standard 3-pack covers up to 7,200 square feet. In our lab testing, placing one unit downstairs by the NBN/Fibre box, one in the hallway, and one upstairs effectively eliminated every single dead spot in a difficult Victorian-style brick home. Transitioning between the nodes while on a video call was completely seamless.
App Setup & Usability
You don't need to understand networking to install the Deco XE75. The TP-Link Deco app guides you through exactly where to plug in the cables and even tells you if your nodes are placed too far apart. It’s entirely plug-and-play.
