Affiliate Disclosure

The Short Version

SignalChoice is supported by our readers. When you buy networking hardware through the links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission. This comes at absolutely no extra cost to you.

In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and standard advertising practices in the UK and Australia, please assume that any outbound product link on this website is an affiliate link.

How Our Funding Works

Running a high-quality hardware testing site requires significant resources. We have to pay for server hosting, a team of network analysts, and most importantly, the actual routers. We purchase the Mesh systems, gaming routers, and Wi-Fi 6 hardware we test at retail price to ensure we are testing the exact same units you buy.

Instead of cluttering our site with annoying banner ads, pop-ups, or paywalls, we use affiliate marketing. This means we partner with retailers like Amazon. If you click a "Check Price" button on our comparison table and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small referral fee.

Does This Influence Our Rankings?

Absolutely Not. Our reputation is our most valuable asset. If we recommend a terrible router just to make a quick commission, you will experience dropped connections, you will return the product, the retailer will revoke our commission, and we will lose your trust.

Our "Scores" (e.g., 9.8/10) are determined strictly by our lab testing methodologies (signal penetration, 5GHz throughput, latency, and ease of setup). Affiliate partnerships allow us to keep the lights on, but they do not dictate our editorial opinions.

Our Partners

We participate in affiliate programs with the following networks:

  • Amazon Associates Program (US, UK, and AU)
  • Impact Radius
  • Commission Junction (CJ)
